Evening light
Suddenly remembering I was supposed to be on church cleaning duty, I fitted in a visit between a walk and dinnertime. Cleaning anywhere is never my forte, but on this occasion I was rewarded by the direction of the light from the declining sun, pouring in at the west windows and illuminating the altar.
Holy Trinity Dunoon is not in the best of decorative order at the moment, but it is a pleasing example of a Tractarian building which lack of funds has, ironically, left relatively unscathed and now recognised as worthy of restoration and repair.
