Chocolate tip

This year is soo good, with more new species for my garden than ever before.
This is one such species the aptly named Chocolate tip Clostera curtula, which I have caught in Colchester while there, but never before in my garden.
It has a disjointed distribution being found in the south, and in parts of Scotland but not in between. It is double brooded, flying in April and May, and again in August and September.
All in all a very smart little moth, and very welcome addition to my garden list,
