Plenty to keep me busy!

Two challenging projects to work on as the weather cools down (can't knit when it's very hot). I fancied making the long cardigan for myself - mainly worked in fair isle in stone and grey then the yoke in grey with cable and twist pattern. My friend likes the blue one - plainer with just a patterned yoke. As she doesn't knit as quickly as I do I am going to knit it for her. So far I have done the tension squares - they are OK  so I am ready to start. Neither is really suitable for doing while watching TV - need daylight and concentration - so an excellent excuse (if I needed one) for 'housework procrastination'!
