Sonogram as Street Art!

We're back in Northampton MA. We found our home in a bit of a mess, and after we went to the dump and to the local Stop & Shop for dinner, etc. we passed this work in progress on the way home. Do view it large!

It is an artistic portrayal of sounds from the bridge in the background, recorded as a sonogram. It's by a local arts cooperative, C3--you'll find information on the project here. The bridge is a former railway track now used as a bicycle path for several miles from Northampton to Amherst--I hoped to include a cyclist or two in the shot, but none passed by. (We often bird on the Rail Trail in Amherst.)
