Golden Glow

I has been a day of cold winds and some sunshine.

Didn't get a good nights sleep... all because of Silvester, the puss. He sure made a noise all night. I would just get off to sleep again he was walking around the house making tomcat meows. Apart from the first couple of days when we moved here.. he normally doesn't make any sounds at all. By around 5:30am I just got up and watched TV for a few hours then went back to bed. I managed a couple of hours sleep but that was all. John said he couldn't hear him. Wish I was a bit deaf!

No noise at all from Silvester today. He is just his normal self! Still will not go outside unless John is with him. Hopefully he will get use to the different sounds of the neighbourhood. He better not keep me awake again tonight!

This a daffodil from our new garden. I was hoping there would be some nice ones.. but there seems to only be one kind and it is this rather small uninteresting one.
