A cheeky slice of carrot cake with our coffee in The Exchange in the morning, while the cleaners were in the house. We had Hazel with us, and also saw Jane and John who were sitting outside in a near-hurricane with the dogs.

The usual fish and chip lunch in Sainsbury's, and that's about it. Mum still bravely getting on with life as best she can, despite the pain and extreme heaviness in her legs.

I don't know what this big shrub in the garden is, but I've never noticed red berries on it before - probably because I've usually cut it back by now. Backblipping this on Saturday with heavy rain showers passing through and no chance of tackling any of the pressing gardening jobs.
