Coventry Cathedral
Today we were free to plan our day as we chose. I went into Coventry to visit the cathedral, which I haven't been to before. Talking to a friend about this the day before, she advised me, when I went in, to walk about two-thirds of the way down the nave, not looking right or left, and then to turn round. When I did this, I understood immediately what she meant. The light from the panels of the stained glass windows at the side is breath-taking.
I've included as an extra the view looking down the nave and out towards the ruins of the old cathedral, through the engraved glass of the Great West Window known as the Screen of Saints and Angels.
