In memory of auntie Joan

After a very long lie in catching up with sleep, I heard that my auntie Joan had passed away this morning. She was in her late eighties and hadn't been well for a long time so it wasn't unexpected, though still sad. As she had run a florist shop with uncle David, it had to be a flower blip.
After an afternoon at the supermarket (note to self - lie in might not be worth the hassle of Saturday afternoon shopping) I was back at the hospital to see John. Not at his best, but finished his tea with some persuasion and a bit brighter at the end of the visit.
