Sanding,Sanding, and more Sanding...........

     Have been, need I say, sanding the chest of drawers. I used the belt sander for the larger areas, i.e. sides and top but I finish it off with a finer grit sandpaper to obtain a really smooth surface.

     You will see that the belt sander has a different coloured s/paper which is coarser but the silver colour s/paper is a much finer grit which produces a really smooth surface. You will notice also I am using a face mask to prevent me breathing in the dust.
    
     I still have the front of the chest of drawers to sand, but this I will have to do by hand as areas are much smaller and intricate. The top and sides are ready.
When all the sanding is done, I will move on to the next stage of staining.
