Went to Crummock Water this morning.  Spent a good 15 minutes sheltering under a tree from the rain.  Strange no mention of rain in the forecast which is why I didn't have any wet weather stuff with me.  I should know better of course!  Anyhow afterwards it cleared up and was quite a nice day.  

Had a lovely surprise in the hallway tonight, lots and lots of ants and flying ants, yeeks!   I really really hate having to deal with things like this.
