Caps and stuff

We met up with an Italian friend who we know because she is studying in London.

Valentina (such a perfect name) showed us around more of Verona, and amongst other places, we saw Juliet's balcony and the cathedral.

In the collage is a photo of 'the cap', signifying the home of the Capulets. I tried to explain the plot of Romeo and Juliet to MightyMouse. He listened intently and finished off with "Er. You had to marry someone from your own family. Errrr.

:-)

The market photo was taken for my friend and blipper Rosina, in memory of a great holiday we had together in Turkey.

And the statute high up - apparently local legend is that the figure will drop the ball he is carrying if someone totally honest passes through underneath. So only Jesus could do that ... Reminds me of a song. Perhaps it needs a new verse ...

We also paid a final visit to our Lido. Yay.

As I write, it's 35', with a 'feel factor' of 39'.
