Learning the Language (1)

Starting with the basics after yesterdays (big-mouthed?) announcement. 
Having to turn my attention away from eye-catching things like persons and animals.
Now looking for textures, forms and contrasts.

It is easy to find these things, they are everywhere. Some are more appealing to me than others. Why? 
Shot dozens of color fields early this morning, but there was only one picture I liked. 

It's like trying to discover what colors and textures make up a word that the soul understands. 
Really, really only at the very beginning of a learning process here.
