A weaving a carpet

Today we attended several happenings in Vesilahti with my mother including a park concert at the Laukko Manor - Ritmo Caliente with some hot Cuban rhytms. A had checked that there was to be a sunny patch between 3 and 5pm - and so it was! The sun was shining brightly all through the concert. We had some champagne there of course - as well as coffee with chocolate muffins... After that we headed for a happening at the Tapola museum yard in Vesilahti, where there was a brass orchestra, the museum for war veterans, a cafeteria and a pub that served some deer sausage - and naturally you could volunteer to weave a carpet, like we all did for sure. To crown the day we had a toast with pink lemonade in a champagne glass to the 100-year old Finland with a threefold shout of hurray.
In the evening we witnessed Usain Bolt at the London World Championship games finish his career with a bronze medal.
