Final Day Final Control

Today was the finale of the Scottish 6 Days. A number of overall positions still had to be finalised so a lot depended on today's results. I was lying in third but only one point ahead of fourth and a point down on second. I knew I needed my best performance of the week and to reduce mistakes to a minimum. I chose safe routes and tried to push myself uphill and across the heather. My best run of the week secured first on the day but second overall. Club mate Maria in the centre of this shot also secured second overall.
