Seascape

This lovely view of Kuper and Thetis Islands with the mountains of Vancouver Island in the background would normally be all dazzling blues and shimmering whites at this time of day. It is early afternoon. The smoke from the wildfires in the interior of BC is greatly reducing the visibility. Very eery and unsettling.  It was as if we were heading off into an unknown, in-between world with no certainty of what we would find. Here we are approaching Clam Bay for the night. The plan is to be up early to catch the turn at Gabriola Passage and head across the Strait of Georgia to visit friends on Bowen.
