Lily

The lilies are suffering in the heavy rain showers and will soon be passed. I was in need of a quick blip this evening and thought I would photograph them before they fade away.  I do find them tricky to photograph and I was in a bit of a hurry when I took this.  This morning when I got in from work I oiled the wooden work surfaces again.  The plaster is coming later in the week and so we need to protect them a little before then.  As I mentioned the other day one of the worktops is being replaced as it was damaged and that will hopefully happen later this week also.  We could really do with being off work to get all this sorted.  I feel a bit exhausted with it all!
