Squares and structures

It's a detail from a huge barn .The wooden and grey painted (?)gate shows that all the best is gone . The square openings in the wall are  strange to me.
All by all I did today a 15km walk and a 40km cycle trip ,and the above picture past my eye, and see also the funny xtra for today
