Castle through th emist

Well not actually mist but it's just sort of hazy.

Went for a bike ride this morning on the grounds that it isn't raining and probably will be later - but forgot I havn't been anywhere up hills on it for months - felt very dizzy once I got up the hill towards the 'tower of unknown purpose' but made it OK

The view of the castle from up there is great on a clear day but a bit hazy today - apparently when Edward 1 built it it was painted white - given that the rest of the buildings must have been very small it must have looked extremly imposing!
