My Home Town

We live near the Roman Town of Alcester. It has some wonderful old buildings, sadly not dating back to Roman times but these early seventeenth century houses are at the entrance to Meeting Lane.
Blipcommunity has asked us to photograph places we would show our out of town guests. Well hordes of visitors go to nearby Stratford upon Avon , but we think Alcester is worth a look too!
There is a small Roman museum, and the main town car park has a red line painted on it to show the position of a Roman grain store which was unearthed when the site was excavated for a supermarket.
