Bowl-lickingly good

Another hot & humid day today. We braved the furnace to buy ingredients to make my French family's famous walnut macarons...it was worth it - they are delicious!
Asha & Danny are out at church tonight, Danny's doing the talk. Nate's been unsettled again, so it didn't seem fair on him or the others to put him/them through it...so we went for an early evening wander instead.

Also, happy birthday to my nephew Sammy, 5 today!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Family recipes & the memories the evoke.
2) Sitting up above the town, enjoying the peace & stillness.
3) The new wonderful blender!
