Abandon Ship!..............

.....................found this poor little boat in the undergrowth at the lakeside! Battered and bruised with nettles, ivy and all sorts of things taking over. Who did it originally belong to?
Why was it abandoned? Did they take it on the lake? Did they fish from it? We shall probably never know. I thought it's image would be something different. Was going to leave it as it was - sooc - but then tried it in sepia and decided it looked more interesting.

Weather is coolish, cloudy and somewhat grey - hoping it will brighten up later
