The orphan

Mr. Paul Davis was adopted by one of our distant relatives. News to me. His great granddaughter happened by my grandparents house the other day while I was painting the front porch pillars.  Her first trip to the island in search of information  into his life and the people who gave him a home so many years ago. I had no information for her but she was still happy to meet me. We exchanged numbers and I have found a few leads for her to follow since then. I am finding the search fun and interesting. Made a new friend.
