MrsB sent me a message to say there was to be a "Hunters Blessing" at the chapel (and hunting lodge when Napoleon was secularising the area) this evening. Have Bliped it several times but can't at the moment find the one that descibes the history of the chapel. Here it is in the winter perched above Ottobeuren and the basilica. Felt just as cold today.

Despite the horrible chilly evening, did take off with the dogs but didn't go close. Apart from the 120 human participants, loads of hunting dogs and hunting birds of prey receiving their blessing from the abbot.

Managed to take some video material of the Hunting Horn blowers musical efforts but have yet to see if any of the material worth uploading to Flickr.
