Shag over Southshore

I aimed to get an image of a shag this afternoon, but in the end have settled for an image with a shag in the distance. I love the far distant view of the Sumner Bar, Southshore, and looking across to where the Southern Alps are hidden in the nor'wester murk.
It's been so warm today! Spring must be spronging. It's been lovely.
