Cairngorms and a last...

...for MonoMonday:Old today...
The last belonged to Roy's grandfather, from a time when people mended their own shoes and added segs for longer wear! To this day I remember my grandfather tapping away at the heels of his boots ;) 
The Cairngorm boots are mine from over 30 years ago - newly rediscovered in a loft clearout! I guess I'll never wear them again as modern boots are much more comfortable - but I remember hanging on to these because they would take a crampon. Don't think that will be an issue for the future ;))
