Managed to scan an older photo of my Triton. Slimline featherbed frame, pre-unit Bonneville engine, Mk1 Amal concentric carbs, Borrani alloy wheel rims with Dunlop TT 100 tyres ( The best in my opinion ) and home made seat ( not very comfy but if you ride fast enough, you don't notice ! ) I've owned this bike, since 1973 but it could do with a makeover now. Snapped a conrod at the TT, in 1980 and totally wrecked the engine, ( it even scrapped the magneto ! ) . I had to bring it back on the train, changing at Crewe, try that yourself, sometime ! Managed to find another pre-unit Bonnie motor, locally ; you couldn't find one of those, now ! Fitted a Morgo 750cc conversion, in 1982, which made it a bit more tractable ( with 10:1 pistons and E 3134 cams ). Happy days !
