Windermere Ferry

Yes, Eve, we caught the ferry in time!

Spent a lovely day in the company of our Glossop family walking in the Lake District, sharing cream tea and finishing off the day at the pub for a well-deserved glass of cider.

We had to make a hasty exit to get the ferry back across the lake in time for Dinner at the hotel but made it by only a few minutes late.

Ant was an excellent guide up and down the Fells even if he did underestimate how long the different stages would take, but I think that was to keep my spirits up, especially towards the end. Thanks, everyone, for a great day.
