Fringe Day 6: A Cappella
The Magnets: Naked 80s
Assembly George Square Gardens - Spiegeltent
Tonights only show was the Magnets. An a cappella troupe from around the UK. In fact we saw them once before in Udderbelly, when that used to be on Bristo Square, so probably 2 years ago now.
Of the original troupe, there remains only one voice. The other 5 have been brought in as replacements.
S enjoyed herself immensely, whereas I was there to support my wifes enjoyment here. The show was well sung and coreographed where required, but honestly it was not my cup-o-tea.
In fact, if there is one bad thing it's hearing George Michael - Careless Whisper, worse than that is to hear it a cappella.
Genital Count: 0/1, however the stage was a sausagefest with the audience being a 90/10 female to male ratio.
Today's blip came from the High Street. A plus for working in the city centre is that I can now walk up at a snails pace to the Fringe section and get some blips.
