The kiln load...

well here it is, the kiln load that i fired the other day.   I am super pleased with the whole lot, but especially happy with the new teapots!   They take such a long time to make, and if they turn out crap after the glazing it is such a let down, as opposed to a mug for instance!   but they all turned out great....not one litt..le mishap.   I pushed the glazes quite far this time too....the last kiln load yielded a somewhat disappointing result....so i really laid on the glaze thick...which is definitely pushing the envelop - could have been disastrous!!!

Another really sunny day here and a nice breeze!   And we are happy to our lovely wwoofer Marco return for about a week i think!  what a pleasure to have a wwoofer that you know fits in well and is a delight to have around.  He's already weeded most of the garden!!!

Having a couple of friends round for dinner...bbq hamburgers and potato salad.....mmmm good!
