Mono Monday: Week 185 .......

Old. 

Even though Simba looks like a spry young chap, he's actually considered somewhat old for a cat.   We don't know his exact age as he showed up at our house (along with two brothers) quite unannounced back in 2001!

We were going to find homes for all three siblings but in the end we kept Simba .... and his brothers found other forever homes.  At the time Simba came to live with us we already had four (could have been five!) other cats!  But the oldest of the four (whom we got in late 1984!!!) would soon leave us .... Sammie was our first and only kitty for a long time.  She passed at a ripe old age of around 19 or 20 years old! 

We must be doing something right ....

I have caught up on my weekend blips .... starting with a music festival on Saturday.
