Steam Sunday

Day two of the steam rally and more marshalling and running about the showground helping things run smoothly. Took part in the 'slow race' co-driving my friend's Wallis traction engine BETH and was chuffed we came acceptably mid-field. I learnt how to change gear, control the regulator, top up the oil, water and coal. I'm in training for the Dorset Steam Fair as crew.

Watched the Tigers parachute team jump into the Arena while sat on BETH drinking beer in the sunshine. The biggest giggle of the day had to be the musical chairs. See a video here.

Got rather grubby today but loved every minute. Totally knackered. Will sleep well.
