Erosion

On one of the many walks (I'm still aching) around the Lake District (close to Keswick I think) we came across this tree. The erosion around the roots was significant. As you can see the rock face was totally exposed. I was quite concerned it was about to fall, so asked Mrs D to prop it up to ensure no blurring on the shot. Now convinced the Lakes are better without lots of sunshine!! catching up on comments today
