It's just 2 weeks until we will be seeing the solar eclipse in the US with John Gravett's trip.   Very exciting.

Solar filters for cameras are really pricey so I have made one using certified solar film.  It is 100mm square and fits my Lee filter holder perfectly.  

Having a professional mount cutter made it quite an easy job.   I got enough film to make several of them so will probably take a spare or two
