Now At Peace

My cousin is at last at rest. Boy did he hang in there. This was taken when he was in the first obvious stages of dementia. A really lovely man. He has left us with a gift of wonderful memories.
Also had some other very sad news. My friend Elliott who I am teaching to swim, his ex partner, mother to his six year old daughter, committed suicide yesterday. In a blink of an eye your world can turn upside down.
All these sad things makes me more determined to live each day as if it's my last.
Today I've been sick though. Started at 5.00 this morning. Must have been the fish pie I had when I was out with the girls last night. Feel quite washed out. Spent most of the day laying around which really isn't like me at all. I've even told my friends I'll not be at my Zumba class tonight. Hope I recover to go for my Wednesday morning swim. At least I'll get over it.
