Doing Time
We went to jail this afternoon. That's to say, we took the children to visit our local museum, which is housed in the old town prison. On the outside it's a fine castle-like building, inside is not so swish.
M loved it. He dressed up in the uniforms provided (so did C - see extra), tried out the bed in the cell, did a circuit of the exercise yard. E claimed to be scared by it - it is a bit grim. We'd have been more sympathetic if she hadn't stopped trembling at intervals to ask 'Can we go to the park now?'
The shot is of the stairwell in the Governor's accommodation.
Am I allowed to enter this for the Abstract Thursday challenge, even though it is Tuesday. I seem to remember that you can do that. If not, please ignore!
