Battlefield Rest

This used to be the tram terminus and shelter.   It lay derelict for some years, and was threatened with demolition, but was saved and turned into a stunning restaurant.  An icon of the south side!

We were down there early this morning to wait for a delivery of timber.  We had a nice seat in the garden, also some lunch there just before the delivery arrived.  The HG happily tackled some weeding in the front garden.

I had a dental appointment this evening as my crown had come out .....again...... I can see that this is going to be troublesome!

A lovely day with lots of sunshine....... what tomorrow will bring who knows!
