Go to work on an egg!

Isn't it weird how things change?

In the 1950s and 1960s there were numerous TV and print campaigns telling us an egg was just the thing. The statement "go to work on an egg" was as widely known as "A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play."

Fast forward 50 years and now, eating loads of eggs is bad for you. Indeed they thought about bringing the campaign back but shelved it as a varied diet is much-favoured now.
