Look Closer

Hidden within a flower .... Another flower.

Down in London, visiting my Mum.  In the garden, amongst other things, this pink hydrangea.   In Wales, by the family caravan, we had the same plant but on the acidic Welsh soil the flowers were blue.  Ten years ago we took flowers from that plant to Dad's funeral where Amy placed them in the grave atop his coffin.  It was his anniversary yesterday.

Always good to be with my Mum.  The house where I grew up still feels like home because she is here.
