celebrations

Today we took Christie and Matt to the Shard for lunch to celebrate their recent engagement. As the waiter took our order he asked if it was a special celebration and we said it was the engagement . So between the pudding and coffee they brought this plate out for them. I am sure it was to appease us as we waited a very long time for our main course roughly 1/2 tp 3/4 of an hour and I had a hypo.
Later we walked to the Banqueting Hall and did the outside walking tour which we have done before but thought it worth doing again. Dinner at Travalgar Square then a walk back to waterloo and home.
I have done 18,457 steps today and my feet hurt!
