Training ship Belem
Built in 1896, the Belem was originally a cargo ship carrying sugar from the West Indes and cocoa and coffee from South America to her home port of Nantes in France. She then became a private yacht with various owners in England and Italy, before being brought back to France under tow in 1979.
She was restored to her original glory, for use as a sailing training ship. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to see her under sail when she leaves here.
