Even In The Rain, Amsterdam Is A Beautiful City..

Day 2: Amsterdam
We started the day with a lazy breakfast and then caught the tram back into the city to take a canal cruise, I just loved seeing the city from a different viewpoint.

Unfortunately at that point it started raining....after a late lunch stop, we had a bit more of a wander around, the older kids visiting the vintage clothing shops, all the kids guffawing at the sex shops, everyone enjoying the candy shop (Johnny Depp in candy in my extras...a pretty good combination).

We finished off the day spending the evening in the Foodhallen..an indoor space with lots of street food vendors and just enough gin, champagne and beer bars, loads of seats for people to chill and enjoy the live music...definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Amsterdam...especially as they serve nearly the best Pimm's in the world!
