Lurking

Thank goodness for the ocotillo in the corner of my neighbors' yard. The only problem is that it's really far away from my patio. Even so,  I found  Zippy!  Just a wee bit more of a turn towards the sun and I would have gotten his brilliant purple gorget and crown.

Last week, my mother finally admitted that perhaps she should move into assisted living.  My brother and SIL are coming down from New Mexico for a visit. So Monday the four of us are going to tour her preferred facility .  It's only about 1.5 miles from me, which is great. I just have to figure out a way to pay for it.

With all of the rest and ice, my shoulder is feeling a teeny tiny  less painful. Unfortunately, it's still causing me to get up at 3 am.  It's been a week since I saw my doc and I'm still awaiting the results of his consults with experts.  Oh, well...at least it hasn't rained in a couple of days.   :-)
