Tuesday: Green Against Green

We had a good morning, visiting Alice Lake (that's an actual lake, not a person), and then taking a drive along the river and stopping off at some lovely scenic spots. It's such a treat getting out of the city to some of the quieter spots.

We got back to Vancouver this afternoon. This evening, K and I left J and S to their own devices while we went to see one of our favourite bands, 'The Decemberists', who were playing at the Orpheum. They were excellent - and ably supported by new talent, Olivia Chaney (although she is a tad melancholy).
