Dead flowers

She preserved our relationship between the pages of a cookery book - chosen for its weight rather than its content. In "Starters" there was a carnation from the flowers I bought her on our first date. Part of our wedding bouquet was pressed between the pages of "Mains".
I placed a lily from her wreath in "Desserts".
