Today in our garden

I counted five apples in my apple tree. I knew this would happen after the late frost earlier this year.  We don't mind because it is enough apples to bake a cake. The frost damage to my box will not be visible after I pruned it.
Insect and other animal life are thriving.

This afternoon the renovation of the shower will be almost complete. Almost. The hinges of the window frame, like all hinges in the house, must be adjusted one day, but because we hardly ever close the windows upstairs, it is not urgent.
