Travelling

Up at 4am to get to Marseille airport for our flight. Nightmare queues for both baggage check and passport control added the stress of "will we catch the flight, won't we". An hour to pick up our Berlingo van in Edinburgh, a visit to IKEA followed by an hour of static traffic on the A9, and the ferry being 30 minutes late meant it wasn't the best day on record.
Sitting in the car park at Uig in the sheet rain and cold wind, one wondered why we had left the sunshine in Marseille.
