A thoroughly miserable sporting Sunday

I was really excited this morning at the prospect of Mayo winning their first All Ireland since 1951. Also, whilst I didn't really expect QPR to beat Spurs, a Bobby Zamora goal in the first half had me believing we could get our first win of the season

But things quickly reverted to normal. Mayo were never on top in the final - which I watched on a live stream on the internet at Dave's house (a Donegal man!). As for QPR - it was too much to hope that we could hold on to the lead. Two second half goals from Spurs put paid to any hope of a result.

Thoroughly fed up now. :-(
