Panta rhei

For some reason I have been thinking a lot today about Heraclitus's panta rhei principle: the idea that everything changes and nothing stays the same. He illuminated this by saying that no man can stick his feet into the same river twice. As the water always flows on, the river changes from second to second. Change has been a theme today.
