London Aquatics Centre

We went to the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Stratford, London yesterday evening.  Not having been well/strong enough to go when the Olympics were on in 2012 it was really special to be in the stadium and feel the roar!

We popped into the Aquatics Centre too.  What a beautiful pool - an ongoing dream of mine is to be the first person to cut through the calm, flat water in a pool such as this!

My extra is of Lisek, a Pole-ish vaulter (see what I did there?!) who got the silver medal.
