Can't catch a break!

Managed to head out for a walk today after the deluge that was yesterday but no wildlife to speak of. Too windy for the birds and dragonflies.
Did give me time to ponder what a bitch life is! After all the stress and heartache of the last 2 years I've finally got a decent income from Sept- Dec at least. Alas Aug-end of Sept is likely be a no-pay-day so purse is empty. What happens - I get a speeding ticket!! Now before anyone huffs and puffs, I have no issue with the ticket - I did the crime I pay the fine - but why does it have to land when I have no money? Grrrr. Hey ho beans on toast for 6 weeks me thinks
